New Bandits are water cooled, too. Saw one at BBT and it looked okay. Not sure when they'll be released, though, maybe BD or Lou can tell us?

I am llooking very seriously at a mint 1998 RF900 with 33,000 miles for 8K or a 2005 1200 Bandit with 2,000 kms for 12K - anny advise ot there on the better of the deals

Now now Mate, calm down - never overlook the opportunity to improve your ride. My information is that current naked Suzies, while great value and good performers, have quality issues surface after a few years, eg brittle wiring has been quoted by one well versed shop mechanic who should know...

Shall we call a truce and say "Just as well we're not all the same" ?

Missed you this w/e LB even tho you are currently bikeless. Another time.

I thought the fared (old stock) Bandit 1200's were now being flicked at around $12k and the unfared model has been $10k for a bit. Might only be a rumour. The Bandit looks like a nice bike to me and probably similar to the GS just a bit more streamlined.
I have just found out that they have removed the word gullible from the dictionary

How about an XJR 1300,the SP model with the Kenny Roberts race rep paint and Ohlins suspension look pretty cool and same kind of bike as the big Bandit...or is that another one you dont get in N.Z? They`re getting fuel-injection for next year as well so maybe deals on the carbed ones.
