    Thumbs up BInned It !

    HEHEHE!

Well I binned it! Misjudged a corner on red hills road... on the ATNR Cheers to all that helped me out and pulling my bike out of the hole in the grass it made!! Thanks guys!!!

snapped the peg off, bent the forks and some fairing damage...

Dislocated my thumb in the process...

And sold my car, about half an hour beforehand... great.

    Anybody do aluminium welding?????

well, learnt another motorcycle lesson... off to fix her up and get back riding tomorrow....

    These ZZR's are tough! ! !

Was a painful ride home! ...was weird because the handlebars point in a strange angle.. yet it goes straight!!

    bummer DD

Be patient with the thumb thing, I damaged mine a little while ago and it still gets a bit stiff when I ride for a distance....
The doctor recommended not riding for a small while and in the end I found that I had to follow the advice to heal it up....

Dont worry about fixing the cosmetics, as you are still learning. As long as you fix the structural part of the bike then it's ok.

I mean look at my fairings...missing parts, cracked, scratched. But mechanicially it's sweet as

Best thing you did was get back on and ride. You were lucky it was just your thumb you damaged and not the rest of your body.

Good luck on the healing process for both your bike and thumb *hugz*
