I saw a guy whizzing ('Cos you 'whizz' on a Honda Pal) through Masterton with a boombox stuck on the back, and he was pumping out the (Bad) tunes.
I saw him at a servo and I complemented him on his sense of humour. His response indicated to me that he was not trying to be funny.

Surely it would have just been cheaper and easier to just put a louder exhaust on if the objective was for people to hear you coming.
