Offerings to the God of Speed

    Hi folks,

Does anyone happen to have a copy of Roger Donaldson's original documentary on Burt Munro? I'm just guessing that it's probably been reshown several times over the years on Kiwi tv and would love to find it in digital format somewhere.

    Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I will have to quote you sunhuntin.

Yes, it is available as part of the collectors edition DVD.
Got it for $30 at the red shed. Best DVD deal I have got in ages (Worth $30 by itself I reckon).

It was also given away free with BIKE magazine in Britain earlier this year on DVD,I missed it but wari brought it down with him when he called in a few weeks back so I got to see it.Must admit I was impressed with the attention to detail of the movie makers and even more by Anthony Hopkin`s performance when I`d seen Munro`s "real" workshop and the great man himself.

a mate helped build some of the sets for the movie and he said all the blown heads etc on the wall above "offerings to the gods of speed" were the originals.

    I was impressed too...
It was like watching the making of the movie itself.

Bit ironic really as "The making of the movie" is what the rest of the BIKE DVD consists of.
