    Basic Handling

    Hey guys wheres a good place i can do my basic handling test in the hutt or town ?

    Try Roadsafe... They are pretty good. They use one of the parking lot's in the city. (I think it's www.roadsafe.co.nz)

    yeah, I did mine with Andrew at Roadsafe - I couldn't make a weekday one but the Saturday session was in a college carpark just off Udy St near the Mitre10 Mega thingy.

    Thought it was a really good introduction anyway - hadn't ridden a bike before so it was all a bit challenging but he was patient and helpful (even when I arsed it all up). Good focus on safety, kept it quite fun and lighthearted but made me realise early on how much of a big deal looking out for yourself on the road while you're riding is (i.e. how much I've got to learn). The course made for a really full-on day as well - like going to work but much worse cos I was concentrating the whole time (oops, that's not how it sounds honest)

    enjoy your course anyway!

    Got my basic handling test out of the way !.
    Roadsafe was good as thanks for the suggestion .
    I did it with andrew too btw

    i got my test booked for wens with road safe (Andrew) then have to do the scratch and win, not a bad way to spend $270
