As someone who rode British bikes in the ''Bikie Gang'' era where bike theft was rife - you have to be proactive.No one in your area should know you own a bike,be descrete.No bike is ever visable on my property,I am in and out of my street quickly and quietly.A mate of mine used to load his Harley into his van and drive to someone elses place,unload in their shed and then go for a ride.Extreme sure,but he kept his bike.Advertise your bike as available for theft and they will form a queue to get to it.
