    RIP fallen biker and my condolences to their family and friends. I drive/ ride that road every day as a concequence of living in Brown Owl. You wouldn't believe how stupid people can be on the river road.

    Many times I've been cut off at the south bound merge past gibons street, passed on the double yellows at the one lane bit and the list goes on.

    As much as I like to have a nice quick ride, I feel the police should be camped out on that road to stop this stuff. I only moved to Akatarawa a couple of weeks ago and the driver antic's on the homeward stretch are a REAL eye opener.

    Yeah, not only is it safer for you, it gives you a chance to read and memorise their number plate.
