Aftermarket fairings for RC30

My poor old RC has had a sorry life,
It was bought as an insurance rightoff in Blenheim. The dude who owned had taken it down to the Brass Monkey, but tried to T-bone a truck in Picton on his way home to Auckland. Que mental picture of steering head torn off frame OUCH!!
Mate of mine bought it at the auction, and used to work for HRC Australia, so made some calls, new frame and some other bits, game on.
His wife said he had too many toys. I didn't have a wife, so I bought another toy.
I got shifted to AK with work, and took it to a club dyno day. Bummer, just on 80 ponies, and lots of smoke.
Bores were tapered and oval. Rebore time. It now has oversize racekit pistons, a flow job on the heads and kitted carbs. Should be good for 120ish.
Still looking for some kit radiators, but the engine is pretty much done.
Now all I need to sort is the body work, and a 17 rear rim.

I agree, Thorsten has done some amazing things to his bikes, and has some pretty neat bits of kit for sale. I wish I had found about his site when I first started this whole rebuild.

Ouch, the poor thing HAS had a sad and sorry time...but if ever there was bike worth resurrecting then this is it.
Good luck mate, I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end, and your mate will be green with envy...along with the rest of us!
