And this makes you a w*nker why exactly?

Donington should be great if the weather holds up - understand warm with a little cloud, so nice for watching. Tell you a good place to watch - over by Craner Curves. If you sit yourself more or less opposite the Spitfire, you'll get a good view of a large part of the track.

Some more handy information can be found at this link - it is a little old, but a good guide to viewing at Donington

Man I miss going to the GP at Donnington. Last time I was there was in 1996. Have a god trip up there man, and if you see my mate Noel can you tell him hi from me.

Hi there - you lucky bastard!! I hope it was good - I'm sure it was.

Us Welly-ites will look out for you in the crowd at the GP viewing in Deano's gargre on Thursday night (she says with grateful thanks to Deano).

    Being frustrated is disagreeable.

Apparantly there was a crowd of 82,000 people this time around - wasn't that many years ago that the total was something like 35,000. There were genuine threats that the UK round could be lost at one stage, attendance figures were so low compared to the other events on the calendar.

The year of the really low attendance was the same year as THE huge WSB crowd at Brands Hatch (120,000+) - that year more people attended the WSB PRACTICE than the GP race day!

Wonder what the BH attendance will be this year? Suppose with Toseland going well, it'll be a decent crowd again - just a shame the facilities at Brands aren't up to handling a big crowd. I was there the year of the 120,000+ - and it was disgusting. I was out on the international circuit. One toilet and one water pipe for half the woodland section... and the water pipe was just p*ssing water on the floor next to the toilet!

Not been back to Brands since as a spectator - when I was lucky enough to be reporting on the BSB series I used to go, but then at least I had use of the facilities in the media centre.

I know the international part of the circuit isn't used much, but there should be more facilties laid on out there on a big race weekend. Donington and Silverstone are making a bit of an effort, so why not Brands?

Bearing in mind it is one of the last big sports events the BBC has the rights to, you'd think they'd play it up more, wouldn't you?
