Show a picture of the other side - the oil pump will be on the right hand cover. Then again even if it has a pump someone may have disconnected it.

It's an RMX. The size of the gas tank and the shape of the seat give it away. Jap import ones had the oil injection. They also had road kit, 6 speed box (NZ ones had 5 speed), small (and I mean tiny) carburettor and steel tank (NZ ones had plastic). Unless you want a road legal trail bike the NZ one is a far better buy (IMHO).

I can't tell from the picture. The metal tank has a locking cap and no vent hose but the bar conceals it in this shot. The Jap model makes about 20hp and is seriously slow. The NZ model is full power (40hp ish). A friend had the Jap spec model and looked into derestricting it but it was easier (or cheaper) to sell it and buy another NZ spec one.

    thats the metal tank.

Still a great bike.... thats the same as i have..... Lots of little goodies you can get for them (mostly RM parts of the same year)

I've swapped the Carb and inlet rubber... reeds, and put a RM muffler on it....

I love it, its a great bike (just a tad heavy)

    Of trade me...

    around $80 i think...

Didnt really do much to the performance, but made it sound like a real two stroke should. Loud

Check your bike still has the oil tank for the two stroke, it should be behind one of the white side covers. If it dont have the oil tank, you will have to premix.

I use Motul 800 at a 40:1 ratio... never had any issues with it.
