Got my first Suzuki!!! New bike!

Yep she's a pretty mean machine I got her at a good price too!

Being a suzuki she's gotta be called Suzy

, had been sitting in my mate garage for ages and it was his flatemates aparently it stopped going one day without warning, so I asked him what the story was and asked him if he wanted to sell it and he said yeah, make me an offer and I said a hundred bucks and he said sweet as!!!!

So came back the next day with a giant wad of cash (two $50 notes)

and a trailer I scabbed from my girlfriends work for FREE!!!!!

and picked her up.

Took her back to my trusty workshop towed by my trusty 1975 corolla wagon and pulled aparty the carby and cleaned it out and wacked her back together and away she goes easy as that! Had a badly cracked exhaust so she was really loud so i got that welded up at my mates work, was looking at these flash expansion chambers with carbon fibre muffler on trademe but I dunno if I can justify spending $300 on an exhaust for a $100 bike!!!

Is there any scooter clubs or any other scooter riders in christchurch keen to go for rides?

Yeah there is a scooter club that meet at a Cafe on High Street by Tuam most Sunday mornings. Was talking to one of them yesterday, they do rides to Akaroa etc. He said it's a bit of a laugh, jostling for position etc with a top speed of 110-110.
