    How bad is your hangover

Happy hogmanay. My head hurts pretty bad. My new year's resolutions are
    1) Go racing
    2) Play soccer again
    3) Get fit (guess that ties in with the first 2)

Didn't have one. Went firewood collecting yesterday and other half was still cutting it up and splitting it at 10pm. Nothing on tv, sick of hearing the thump of the axe, so I left him to it and went to bed!

Another wonderful new year - NOT!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

My wife binned her bike on the way home yesterday so I spent the evening bending bits of her bike back into shape. No beer for me. Totally knackered so went to my bed at 10:30.

This morning decided to test ride her bike - did a 50km no problem then just as I turned into the drive satisfied at a job well done the front tyre let go and dumped me unceremoniously on the tarmac at 10kph - typing one handed as left hand f#cked from the bin. Spent our last $80 on Christine's x-ray yesterday and can't be arsed waiting in a 3 week queue at middlemore to check if anything is broken.

Front tyre will be removed when I get some money and will be burnt at the stake. It is a death trap.

Happy f#cken New Year for the McJims

And I truly wish you all a happy Hogmanay!

Had quite few bourbons (at least 15) and got to bed about 4.00am. Ive been up and about now for a few hours and the body is in good form.
Im one of the lucky ones that as long as I stick to one poison Im usually fine the next day.
As for resolutions Im not really into that but 1 thing that I have promised myself this year is to learn to ride a unicycle. Should be a laugh and no doubt I will receive the odd bruise and scrape in the process.
Have a great 2007 you lot
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.

Both just bruised a bit. Kings Tire brand - one of these far eastern no name brands I suppose. It was the tyre that came with the front end off trade me when we replaced the front end after a motorist pulled out in front of Christine at a roundabout.

Should have put the old wheel back on - once we've got funds we'l get some decent rubber for the bike.

    So this is my hangover.

Petal has a Kings tyre on the front. They are sold in NZ. It is very bad , though not as bad as the Cheng Shin on the rear.

The only grace they have is that they last almost for ever, even Petal cannot seem to wear out the rear, despite her vicious power delivery - the rear wheel spokes break, but the tyre just jeers at me. Which is but small consolation, since it means that I must put up with them for longer before having justification to replace them with something decent (to replace even the worst of tyres before it is worn down would risk invoking the irate ghost of great grandfather Ikey McTavish, he who was so tragically mothed to death. I cannot risk that)
