Hey Fellow KBs
I change my bloody mind like i change.
Im very set on getting a wrf250f (road useable) and doing a few conversions to make her a out an out road/circuit machine (well as far as 250s go).
I will have about 8-10k for the bike and the conversions etc should be ample if i can pic a wrf off trademe for around 5k.
I would like to no general cost of doing the job proply wilst still being able to maintain a road legal bike.
The most obvious thing to do first Is wheels what size?? id pefer to have 17s for tyre range and handling and the like but 21s would be more worth while please say so. Secondly i would have to get the susspension revalved at the rear and respringed at the front ?? lower by 2-3 inches maybe ?? And a front brake would really like a powerful front although my budget may restrict this somewhat. O and tyres the slicker the better for me on the rear and maybe a grippyish tyre on the front
Anway am i on the write track
1. Wheels
2. Susspension
3. Brakes
Any other nessicery requirements for the motard experience ?? What sort of performance upgrades are there is there any need at all ??
The main goal is to have a nice zippy 250 that i can take to the occasional track day and proggresivly get better and really get into the whole motard thing unfortunatly my budget isnt quite what it should be and have to have 2 bikes in one sort of thing ie road legal and motard.
Anyway nuf said.
ANY feedback would be bloody awsome.
Cheers Guys
ps sorry for my atrosious spelling
