    91' GSXR1100 - Leaking float bowl drain screw

    As per previous post, just written off my Gixxer.
    Before draining fuel etc for storage wnat to make sure she fires up ok.

    Cranks over ok, but not firing.

    Checked fuel in carbs by lossening drain screw for one of the carbs, but now the da*n thing is weeping fuel...

    Any tips on curing?

    Do I need thread sealant/lock on the thread?

    Is it just a small screw on the bottom?they seal with a taper,just lap it in with a tiny bit of fine valve grinding paste.....

    Just don't over tighten it. They can strip fairly easly. As above just check the taper on the end . Even some 1200 Grit paper should clean it up if there is a indent groove on the end taper Good luck Dude Sensei NP
