    Apparently the third photo is a closed road. Not open to the public. Only found that out on the return trip, but damn its the fastest way to Ohope. I would do it again since it is a private road and you know what that means

    Great photos. Great spot! (but them I'm biased).
    Used to use a lot of the forestry roads when I was going to Whakatane regularly. Most of them are better than highway 1 (although that's probably not hard). No one ever questioned me and shortened the journey LOTS. Got to know which gates are closed though! (bugger, bugger, bugger.......)

    Yeah people were giving me funny looks. Took me a while to click. Great roads, great fun .

    nods today was a fanblardytastic day ..

    had awesum ride on the horse this morning ..

    then suprised with an offer of a bike ride over piecock hill this afternoon .............. thanks for the ride & the awesum riding company you know who you both are ...

    Mikey great to catch up with you at piecock ..(tis a small world after all)

    topped it off with fish & chips by the beach @ pram brilliant !!!

    just one of those absolutely magic days ... still smiling .. !!!!!
    Have to Karma ... Justice catches up eventually !!
