    Neasvale Tracks (Kopu/Hikuai Road)

Has anyone recently been riding in this area, it's the eastern side of the Kopu/Hikuai Road on the Coromandel Ranges, i used to ride there alot around the late 80's, as I recall there were pently of windy clay tracks used by bikes and 4wds, some pretty steep stuff with plently of ruts and bogs, I think it's all DOC land and I'm not sure as too how receptive they are to riders using the tracks.

I used to ride there in the 80's, too. I was living in Ngatea, so the Neavesville was my local. Was always a popular spot back then. We used to normally go in at the gravel dump, just above the Fourth Branch, then finish the day with a ride in the river to wash the worst of the clay off.
ACC - It's where the Enron accountants all went.
