Preeeeecisely. That's what I was thinking when I posted the comment. I just shake me head at all the young 'uns these days who would rather have a Skyline than a GSXR.

How the hell do you review a motor vehicle without quoting technical information?

"It has wheels. It will, on appropriate control input, move forward under its own power at a certain rate. Notice this fine photograph of the vehicle moving forward."

    Won't sell mags, will it.

    I reckon.
I couldn't quite follow some of the references here (like the one from What?). I do know about the wheelies, as I saw that edition of BRM, and peoples have generally been very specific when describing others, e.g., "cockmunch", "dorks", "Dick", etc. Pity it all gets a little vague when describing events and suchlike...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

    Kewlness!
That means (because I'm not yet 46), that I'm always going to be a younger-than-average motorbicyclist!

But it also means that young fellahs such as myself and Cycosis have to hang around with old bastards such as Deano, Jimbo and Mitch.

aye.. its a crazy place. My old flat mate is sinking his life savings into getting a GTO up to speed.. despite me reminding him every other week that my $13000 bike will still blow him into the weeds on all but the twistiest road. what a pack of eggs!

Different strokes for dufferent folks I guess, I used to think the same of people that sent mega-bucks on boats that only got used a few times a year, special vehicles that neeed towed to where you are going etc, but, that was their idea of fun, not mine.

Actually I think that makes us both below average.

Keep the real comparisons of gear. Maybe I don't pull wheelies - but I do like to know that for those mid-commute moments when the light between cages is narrowing rapidly that I do have enough power-to-weight to get through the gap before the light goes out.

Well its worse for me cause i would have to consider WT old which means all the guys older than him makes it an even bigger age gap. At least i have quite a few mates into bikes and a few more coming through now that they have seen the light.
