    Aprilia at last!

A lot of you already know but thought I'd better do an official thread. Finally I have managed to purchase my long awaited dream, an RSV1000R Factory. Yes, it had to be a factory. I took delivery of it on Friday, but with us in the middle of moving cities this weekend I'm going to have to wait until Tuesday to ride it When I purchased my gorgeous SV1000S in June 06 I thought I would be some time off from an Aprilia. The SV is a fantastic bike and I really was very happy on it. However a nice wee promotion came along with my job, and thanks to Darren Smith of Moto Finance the Aprilia finally became possible (if anyone is looking for bike finance I do reccomend these guys, they specialise in bikes, planes etc). On top of that Jill has been hounding us to sell the SV to her, an '05 Factory with only 10,800ks on the clock came on the market, and the rest was just signatures on paperwork.
So now that I finally have a V-twin that DMNTD will want to ride all the time, my next worry will be tyres on both bikes (I know the Aprilia wont just be parked up in the Garage while Im at working during the week). Obviously we are now looking for all information to do with these bikes, so whatever anyone knows about them, or even opinions looking forward to hearing from you all.
Oh, and with our move to the new place we will set up two computers at home so I can spend time back on KB again, looking forward to it.

Perfection is not something you should ever attain, but something to always strive for. For if we actually achieve our idea of perfection, is it then any longer perfect?

Welcome to the dark side There will no going back now.
For info the Aprilia Forum is awesome http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/index.php I have found this place really usefull. The guys at AF1 have lots of "goodies" that you can now waste your money on too.
Sensei on here has got a lot of knowlege on these and he is fizzing about a new EPROM chip.
    Enjoy it!
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.

You get some k's under your belt before TyreEaterPeter gets hold of it! Will it mean a tour down here when you get time?
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Congratulations on the new beast and thank you for my new one!

Yes, a new toy graces my garage as well. Nicely nurtured to maturity by Duc-girl and clan, it was just ripe for the picking...

Pics to follow...hmm, might have to start my own thread...
