thats the blue one that was at motorhouse for at least 6months .if you are conserned get your self an independent micanical check done i think its the cut of fairings that put people off it

    Re: The Big Blue Bus...

    Howzzit all,
Happy New Year & all that crap !!! The bike in question belongs to my flatmate...

Yes, it's a Malaysian market (full horsepower) import..

And sadly, yes; it's been for a skid down the road (previous owner), however I also know the previous owner very well & know for a fact that the bike went down to Smythe & Yeates to have the chassis alignmnet checked, which was pronounced to be A.O.K

The rear subframe was toast & has been replaced with the later model steel one...

The rear tail piece has also been replaced

The front fairing was basically undamaged apart from gravel rash... The whole idea during its hiatous was to build something that stood out from the sea of "Boring Buses" that are floating around - hence the idea to cut the fairing down and polish the cases & give it some new clothes (paint)...

The colour is Shockwave Blue & comes from an 05 XR-6 Falcon...

I will personally vouch for any of the work my mate has done on the bike during the re-build & having ridden "The Blue Whale" several times can honestly say that the old girl rides as good as any out there...

My only suggestion would be to fit a new rear tyre as the HPX thats on there is passed it's use by date

Do yourself a favour & take it out for a run if you come back without a smile on your face, you probably don't deserve to be riding bikes !!!

If you want any further info on it, please feel free to ring/txt me on 027 242-7639

Reason for sale is to put some more money into his business & thats it, that & the fact that he's also got my old warmed over GS 1200 SS in the shed too !!!

Cheers - have a good one

Thanks for all your help guys, at this stage i think i'll let it go and save a bit more money for a standard one, i'm just worried that it's taken two years to sell so far, how long is it going to take me to sell it after i put another 20-30000kms on it

You can buy good 'busa's for $12-$15k anyday if you look - just be aware that they chew thru tyres real quick but the motor is bullet proof !
