    Just had to have it.....

    Bloody Trade Me.....

Listed all 3 of our dirt bikes yesterday. Our new property is a bit steep to have much fun on dirt bikes, and is more suited to the quad, so thought I'd put the bikes on TM. never sold anything on there before.

Well, blow me down my TT350 sold on buy now within 4hrs, and looks like we have a buyer for the missus's XLS185, and good interest on the TS125.

Been looking for a project bike for a while, no real ideas.
Saw this and had to have it.......my third of this model over the years.
Looks bloody good, and I know the first owner, he's a customer at work and brought it new in 1980. All road legal too.
Might use it until my Speed Triple arrives then tear it down for a resto or something etc.
Can't ride the VTR1000 as the guy buying it has paid half so far, so i'm going nuts!!!!!!!!!!

Looks good in the pic... Always good to see a mint 'old' bike around that hasn't been abused or thrashed too much...

I got $1600. It was a mint 92, maybe it was too cheap, as the interest was amazing, and I even had a local guy here with cash wanting me to renege on the deal with the buyer. But it only owed me that, and I'd rather sell something at a fair good price rather than be stuck forever with it.
It has gone to ChCh too.

Yeah, I love the old Jap 'muscle' bikes. My last one was the same colour. Unsure what I'll do with this one yet. Probably keep it visually stockish since its original, but maybe update a few things with modern components after a tear down and inspection.
    Gotta get it home first!

The new, (but old) roulette green colour. Hopefully here in a few weeks.
They're throwing a hugger in as well.
I like the 2 mufflers up in the original spot, so will be looking at some Staintune, Micron, or Scorpion hopefully not long after purchase.
    Maybe Neptunes?

Wow what a awesome looking Honda, can I ask...how much did you pay for that? It looks great just the way it is...maybe debaffled to give it a grunty sound. I've seen photos of those old school jappers (bike) after the jappers (people) have done some crazy things to them and I have to say they look way better in a standard condition. Great stuff...
1990 GSXR 750 - want one, can be crap, can be awesome....pm me.

$3500. Seems an ok price to me, I'm happy, as I really love these bikes having owned 2 prior. The mufflers are Staintune copies of originals.
The bike is apparantley mint original, except for the mufflers, and flew thru a new WOF today.
I'm getting quite a few new unused spares with it too, so all seems good.

Awesome looking CB Dooly, I had the privelage of being loaned one for 4 months back in 1988. when the owner went over seas, and I loved it.

Your TT would have been popular for a few reasons, one being that even though it's a 90's model, it would have still been eligible for classics racing, because Yamaha didn't change a damn thing on the bike from it's inception in the early 80's, untill the mid 90's when they stopped making them.

Again..... loving the CB dude, awesome bike.

    Cheers.

As said, I was astounded by the interest in the TT.
Awesome dirt bikes. having had same years XR & DRs, I rate the TT far better.

that Roller Door is a really nice looking one. Ive bought bits from that honda-mate guy and he was excellent to deal with.

you saw the SOHC 750 with cast wheels and what looks like CB750F (DOHC) running gear, ex the US?
