Crikey - all in all, I'm glad you "discovered" it first in your ute, imagine if it was a biker blattin' along instead (you...). If they do it once...and didn't get a "result" they wanted, they'd probably do it again? Unless the cost of the rope broke their budget ... frikk'n idjits ...

That is such a lame dumass thing to do. Thats up there with tossing bits of concrete over a bridge onto passing traffic.

When I was a kid, my asshole brother set me up a doozie. Had me racing around the house on my railey 20 (Bright orange, three gears and a basket in the front) He put some bailing twine up between the house and fence. I got rope burn across my neck. Looked like someone had cut my throat. I got the prick back though. Pushed him over the bank into a huge blackberry bush

Im now on the trail looking for the mongrols who were seen walking around early this morning....Sure is some idiots out there....got to be careful alright.....
I've heard of farmers doing that to guide their stock through the right gate when herding them by themselves - then they forget to take the wire down afterwards. I think a biker got taken out by a wire in Taranaki a few years ago like that?

From my memory of how tall a cow is, shoulder height seems a little high though. Was it the right sort of area?

I fully agree with this statement 100% and love the description of the culprit. But calling them a wanker is an insult to wankers.

Glad you avoided that and hope you catch up with them in a dark alley with a butane blow torch and a rusty razorblade.

Check your mrs hasnt brought rope recently on trademe.

Did you have a good look around? sounds like the kind of things they might hang around to watch

Take a photo of the rope and post a notice in the local supermarkets, someone other than the scumbags might recognise it
