Well it is just I have been planning to do the bike stuff for years. and thought if she liked me enough she would be around for years.

But dilema is solved anyway. I knew she was a good girl - but gooder than thought

All going well we could do this sort of thing together for years - didn't know she was slightly interested in a bike rally until I talked to her tonight.

It is amazing what talking will do

My 2c, go to the rally. By yourself if she cannot organise herself.
In my experience if you give in to these kinds of things too early you get walked all over and dumped for being to nice a guy for them.
If she still cares after being told biking comes first that makes her worth of a second interview. Back down now and kiss your bike goodbye if she moves in.

Funny that - I used to try the talking stuff with my ex's and it never seemed to work before - maybe I was just getting cynical and bitter in my old age

She has organised herself - just got a txt - she has managed to get hold of bike gear herself - now up to me to sort my shit out and find a tank bag to fit the triumph - hope I will find one at a Dunedin Bike shop
