Good luck more than good management. "That's the bigest nearly accident I have ever seen" was quoted by one comintator.

DeAngelies was the name said in the video. 250 Aprilia.
So I take it that it was Alex de Angelis

It was luck... can't remember if it was the 06 or 05 season... names have completely gone out of my head, but chupa chups teamate was leading, with chupa chup in third...

While I agree there was a huge amount of luck involved....lesser riders would've binned it.

It's amazing how many REALLY close 'moments' the top guys can and do save.

Yep, that was good luck in my books. Once on the grass it was more up to rider skill (also luck of course). Intense.
To split or not to split, that is the question

I remember seeing that! it was IMO almost all skill, luck always plays a part though!

"If you can't laugh at yourself, you're just not paying attention!"
"There is no limit to dumb."

"Resolve to live with all your might while you do live, and as you shall wish you had done ten thousand years hence."

It was the riders skills and experiance that alowed him to take advantage of the options that luck gave him.
