    Foxton Beach bike traps

Hell. Why dont they just set landmines and do a proper job??

If the forest is private, fair enough to ask people keep out. But to set traps to cause bikers to possibly crash is going too far. How are they getting in there in the first place.? How much of the road itself is private? Seems they need proper locks on gates or it that just too hard. I have heard there have been some close calls with trail bikers in the sand dunes nearly hitting kids playing in the sand so maybe this is payback?
Then came the day when cages were confined to zoos.. and the bipedals ruled the earth again.. Tu@ advt # 666 Return of the beasties

They do have proper locks. It's just that idiots bypass the gates.
Until they find out who actually made the boards up it's just rumour mungering to say locals did it.

Edit- Oh I forgot to mention it's not only motorcyclist who enter forest areas without permision.

If anybody got hurt or killed would they charge the perpetrators with attepted murder or murder? If they catch the pricks is it still attempted murder?

If its confirmed its people who own the forest or are associated with it are doing shit like that, I'd be all for burning their precious forest to cinders.

    Fuckers.

Someone put a dead horses head in their kids bed or something..

Locals must have felt pretty pissed to do that. Pretty stupid extreme measure to take though that could kill someone.

hmmm the traps have been located at both Hokio & Waitarere beachs in the dunes as well .. mostly to try & stop motorbikes, but obviously can cause major damage to anyone standing on them .. human, horses, or dogs etc ..

seen this happen a few yrs ago .. a few local iwi trying to stop the bikes/horses/ppl ripping through the plantings .. mind you a few yrs ago they were on the beach throwing chains into the bikes as they went past ..

now that was nasty .. cops spent more time on the beach trying to stop someone getting killed ....
