    Anybody read the new BRM?

Who's the "cockmunch" having a winge about me doing wheelies and Glenn printing the photos and power to weight ratios?

If you don't like it, turn the page, Fred.

Don't slag BRM for printing it either as it's a freelance contribution.

As to where we were at the ACC protest run at Parliment, no I wasn't posing for wheelie and stoppie photos you boring old shit, I was attending the same run you were and accomodating riders from Invercargill who'd also attended.

Shame we didn't run into each other, as I'm sure we'd have had heaps to talk about.

Wouldn't waste my time. Glenn pretty-well said it all.
Spot the dashing figure on page 45 in the Triumph jacket...

I got FIVE complaints about my coverage of the FNAR in Kiwi Rider - apparently it's a record.
They printed two (and some more of my pics to go with 'em hehehe). The gist of most of them was that if'n I didn't like the ride I must be a pussy...

WT: Don't sweat it mate. Some people just don't see having inadequate bike handling skills as being dangerous, but overt displays of controlled brilliance make them froth at the mouth.

Oscar: Some people are just, well, dicks. Good on you for telling it the way you saw it.

WT, that responsible and concerned citizen had a point. It's up to guys like you, who have such an influence on the Yoof of Today, to encourage them in the Proper Direction.

These murder-cycle things are just plain trouble, any way you look at it. And you *know* them teenagers are all champing at the bit to get on two wheels. Magazine pictures of a Naughty Man doing Dangerous Stunts will no doubt have a horrendously adverse effect on next year's road toll statistics.

    Shame on you!

er....no. Is it in the photo at the Blue Pub? A bit far away for me to spot if it is or not.

That's just it! The Yoof of today aint buying bikes. The average age of a motorcyclist in NZ is 46 years and aging, I'm trying to get the young 'uns interested in bikes and hooligan behaviour is the best way I know how

Ol' Freddy boy reckons printing power to weight figures is sensationalism.

Ummmm.... I don't know about you but when in the market for a new sports bike, I'd like to know both those things.

Glennn did a fine job of setting the record straight.

Dont know why because the mainstream Brit bike press do it all the time.Non-bikers seem more impressed by the capacity of a bike than anything else, hence the common misconception that Harleys "must be bloody quick cos they`re 1200c.c." or similar.Only time power/weight ratio figures have made the news here was when one of the insurance companies was looking at using them to rate bikes by that rather than purely by c.c. as they used to,which meant for example a 250 Suzi Gamma cost the same to insure as an MZ250.I`ve got a feeling it is actually one of the criteria used now along with other factors such as price, popularity with thieves e.t.c.

If the power to weight figures are sensational, then I guess it follows that printing the figures could be "sensationalism"

What's this tosser Frddy's address or phone number ????

Im intrigued, I will have to get to the shop and have a squizz. (WT - are you sure this isn't a ploy to purchase another BRM ? Are you on a commission mate ?)
