Swap you a Blackbird for a Pan and a Monster!

Talked to a biker mate of mine in Ireland recently, he used to have a blackbird - loved it, stage 2 dyno, zorsts so on and so forth, but it was costing him a fortune in rubber, chains and cogs (not helped by the fact he would need it to do big miles, inner city squirts and sunday rides).

He pops into his local dealer, who had just got in a grate of used bikes from the UK and swapped his blackbird in for a 6yr old Pan European for the long stuff and a 916 engined ducati monster (one lady onwer, 2,500miles ) for the fun stuff...how cool is that 2 bikes for the price of one.

bugger this multi purpose bike lark, dual purpose nonsense - more bikes and a bigger garage is the answer LOL

Especially in the UK, insurance is stupidly expensive. We pay less in dollars than they do in pounds, so even if it was 1:1 it'd still be more expensive. But factor in the exchange rate...
