Have been using Pilot Powers on the Bandit , but have just done a month on Power Race . Very impressive tyres. Quick warm up compared to the 209 gp 's I tried ( the dunslops I never really felt happy with unless they were hot , which took longer). But if you aren't doing any track days or scatching around ,you know, normal stuff ! The Pilot Powers are my favorites. Gaz.

Very interesting Hitcher, not too sure if I am that interested in them if that is the case. Question (s) though, how many Ks would you expect before this happens and could this be a feature if the majority of my riding is through the twisties?

Blackbird, would be very interested in your feedback on the Avons once you have given them a crack around the south Island

Avons. Viper on the front and Azarro on the rear. Just gotta watch the Azarro a bit on a slippery road but other than that they do well. Im on my second Azarro (on a Hayabusa) and they seem to do around 6000 kays.

On both the ST and ZRX I was getting about 10-12,000km off a Z6 rear, with the squaring-off starting from about 6,000km.

Thanks Hitcher that doesn't sound too bad especially as the ZRX would probably punch them out at around the same rate as the X11. I am looking to get around 8K from the Azaro

Pirelli Sport Demons on the Spada. I commute, go for blats and do trackdays, so needed something of the sport type, but not too sticky as my commute would eat them. Have clocked up 11,000k's or so and the rear is about to be replaced - too many straight lines (the sides are sweet, but the centre is flat).

I have had absolutely no problems with them, and have ridden them on the absolute edge of the tyre on a few occasions. Won't be changing, they're the perfect tyre for me and my bike.

This is my first poll. It was something like 3am when i posted it, hence the mistakes. Was surprised I couldn't edit/correct the mistakes. The Eastern Creek poll just had Michelin, Pirelli, Dunlop, Bridgetone & "Other".

There's going to be lots of people running "Avon or Other".
I'm running Other, as in Stallion, colour is traditional Black.
90% of the time spent writing this post was spent thinking of something witty to say. It may have been wasted.
