Angry Diesel spill / sand pit - BEWARE

Okay I can see the logic of using sand to soak up diesel spills, but surely leaving it on the road is just as dangerous in many ways.....

Oh yeah, obviously there has been a BIG diesel spill in newmarket, near the big mitsubishi dealership this weekend and a cart load of sand dumped on the road, leaving some nice long sand bars and some slick 'missed' patches as well....

Thought the council was meant to clear the sand up after it had soaked up the oil, not leave it there all weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hell no This is the Auckland City Council we are talking about. Too busy planning the next overseas junket to worry about maintaining the local roads.
Keep the shiny side upright, Rhino.
