We put two new tyres on Jasons TL100R the other day, he rode outside and managed to pick up a screw, he didnt even make it to the road!!

We had to take the wheel off repair it properly (no dog turd) and rebalance it. So I know exactly how you feel.

Pete and i went for a nice ride down to port waikato yesterday shit hot weather. Pete went fishing he caught 3 crabs and one fish but i think it was a white bait because he caught that one with his hands

i was advised today that i had applied said dog turds incorrectly; the correct method is to have both ends sticking out of the tyre, after liberally applying goo! you live and learn huh!

Still, $35 for a repair, well 2 repairs for the price of one really. And cos they're so close, the punctures that is, they'll repair it again for free it it doesn't hold.


It was VERY embarrassing going in the shop with 1cm chicken strips, almost as embaressing has having that blade pass me on the corner

Sweet, I'll put the kettle on in the morning then, getting sick of this police scanner. Dunno about Taupo, but a mate phoned yesterday and has hired puke for himself in early feb to test his new Aston Martin DB9 (yes a car), and stretch the legs on his MV Augusta-flash something or other that cost a squllion dollars. Asked if I wanted come along for the day and keep him company.. said I could bring a couple of mates but I havnt got any.

You shouldn't feel bad about the later, it was just another one of my accidental 'which ones brake, which ones throttle moments' that I have occasionally - however on this occasion I hit the throttle ............so who's keen to ride with me in close formation again?? I find it very stimulating for my hand/eye co-ordination practice.

Dog turd method? Do tell. I have a rear tyre the size of a small town, so any tips on dealing with punctures would be appreciated.

On that note, does anyone know of a good type of air compressor to buy for bike/cage tyre inflation - I am living rural, which means the tyres are always hot by the time I get to check the pressures at anywhere that has an accurate pressure gauge, so thought of being able to inflate them at home.
