I had my gn 125 up to about 120 flying down the motorway from constellation dr to tristram ave, but lets just say it didnt like it, and it vibrated - alot - and it was pretty windy on those bicycle wheels..
That bike was great for burnouts, wheelies from a standing start and all manners of drink driving (which im obviously against now days, learnt my lessons and all) took it for its first service and the dude asked if I used it for off road
Nowadays I can go back the otherway on that same piece of motorway (uphill) and hit 195 before I need to change lane to exit, most ive had aprilia up to was 205 with my head on the tank
In regards to getting away from cops, havent had a go at running away yet but have been chased for 3-5 minutes at 200 from orewa back to the shore without knowing it
Confident the aprilia rsv4, IS the one
To be honest i never noticed any speed wobbles on my mates Gn125 when i rode it home from the shop for him. I had it fully tapped out at about 135ish chasing my mates zx4r. Good little bikes.
Worst speed wobbles ive had was on the RG after i had taken the fairings off.....above 180 and it shakes like norton.
not quite sure what the penalty was, probably get done for excessive speed, running from the police, evading capture (until he turned his bike back on, and the Police saw his brake light). So he'll probably get the book thrown at him, bike impounded, loss of licence for 6 months, and a probable $600+ fine...

Hey guys, I'm going to set the record straight finally. As you all know that the VT250 is mine it was not me that was riding it on the day! My brother, who was on my KR150 and his mate, who was on my VT250 went out for a blat down T Straight and they were being boys (stupid boys if you ask me). They both were showing of and racing then they came to an intersection and a cop pulled up behind them, he then flashed on the lights however because they both do not have there licence they gunned it.............. My brother slowed down but his mate didn't so instead of going after my brother they went straight for Dylan. He said that he was doing appromamatley 170kmph down T Straight and at this point there was about four cops cars which had joined in. He went though a number of red lights and was bassically breeaking every rule in the book. (he wasn't going to stop for anyone). Anyway he made it out to ngaruawahia (there was 6 cop cars after him now)where he took a turn which ended up down the railway tracks! The cops had lost him and he was wrapped however when he got of the bike he turned the bike of didn't he (what a dumf**k) and so the park lights came on! Basically the cops saw as they were driving passed and he ended up getting caught.
He got kicked to the ground and was arrested on the spot. My bike was impounded including my gear and keys and he lost his licence for 3 months and a $400.00 fine. if you ask me he got of easy wouldn't you think?
I have now 16 days to wait before I can retreive my bike and man I cant wait.....................![]()
Apprediate your candour, littleswettie_2006!
I think the part in brackets kicked in about the time they decided to ride unlicensed and it was all downhill from there. Why do so many youngsters have no brains?![]()
He got off way too lightly, I bet he's laughing about it! (?)
Maybe you can dish out some additional punishment yourself. I'm sure you wont be letting him or your brother anywhere near your bike in future..? If he'd totalled it you wouldn't have insurance and would he be able to pay for it to be fixed?

yea thats so true! i tell ya when i found out i was spuing like litturally no one could come near me then. I have no insurance on the VT250 however do have it for my KR but it was the last time i let the boys touched my bikes cause my bikes are my babys and cant afford to keep retrieving them from the impound! the boys did apologize but it does not make up for the stupideness, my brother lost his licence again on friday so ya now i can actually not worry if he going to take the keys or not! cause if he gets caught it jail!!!!!!! um i thoought that the punishment was soft and i wounder y he got of so easy? but i guess what goes, goes then what can we do! If he did crash my bike it would have given me an excuse to go get another one with more power he would pay for of corse! But it ok I getting my bike soon so just have to wait!
I assume you are making him pay for the impound and storage, and extra for all the 28 days of good weather riding you have missed out on...???
Good on you! If only everyone was made to face the consequences of their actions from an early age the world may be a better place!
I guess the likes of Patrick, SD, etc. would agree they must despair at times the leniency of the courts after all the crap they go through to catch and charge idiots...
