Queenstown to Auckland

Yay I'm riding my GPX250 to Auckland in two weeks! Best thing is, I get to do it in 2 days! Woo hoo 12 hours on the first day... Anybody wanna donate me a pallet of nodos tablets?
So, as an alert to Mr Policeman out there, I will be riding at high speed (read:revenue) everywhere in the North and South Island, except for SH1. So just stick to the backroads, out Gisborne, Bluff, Milford Sound way, and you'll be sure to catch me. Cheers in advance.
Planning on taking a late ferry to Wellington, staying the night with some friends there, and then doing the other leg the next morning.
