nope it is hp mate. usually based out of north shore policing centre or orewa base (stu). cviu use holden utes. (usually plain, but we dont have to worry about them).

i've seen the utes pulling rice over often for speeding and being ****heads etc but they dont' seem to have radar.... never seen them bothering bikes though. edit aprt from gremlin hahaha

When you tour the S.I anything comming towards you could be a cop. Anything behind you likewise. Anything parked on the side of the road also. They are thick from the Lindus pass all the way to Christchurch. Watch out around Seddon south of Blenheim. Basically, they are everywhere. It will be a lottery for you. And lastly, good luck!

I've been pulled over by the a CVIU ute before.

But it was night and I had a busted taillight (to my surprise) so I guess it was more of a welfare thing than anything else. I didn't get a ticket.
