    Triumph parts?

Hi, I'm fairly new to NZ and have just bought a Triumph Speed Triple. Where is the best place in the Wellington area to buy parts etc... I'm looking for a muffler so that I can hear that triple scream... - Cheers SB.

The nearest Triumph dealers to you are; Wellington Motorcycle Centre, Kent Tce if you know where that is, otherwise follow the drunks down Courtenay Place; ANZA Motors Palmerston North- tucked away in a back street.
If it's just a muffler re-fit then any shop should be able to sort you out with a Micron, Arrow Akrapovic... or whatever you want.

If you need parts in Wellington expect a long wait.

Wellington M/C should be able to get anything you need.

Its taken months sometimes to get my parts
You know you had a good nite when you have to ask someone if you had a good nite.

well poorbastard i don't know why it has taken you so long as i used to work at TriumphNZ until 2 months ago as the parts person and i beleive we had great turn around time ... would take no longer then 2 weeks for things the uk didn't have in stock

Yea I have no idea why It took so long for the fork tubes to get here either. Most things have only taken a few weeks.

I have used (for accessories) www.jacklilley.com in England. Last item I bought from them arrived in a week and (by the time vat came off) was cheaper than buying the product in England! - that includes the cost of freight- and certainly cheaper than buying it here.
I want a Speed Triple instrument cluster cover at the moment and have been quoted six to eight weeks delivery time. I can get this item direct from the USA or Jack Lilley direct in one week for only slightly more (cost of freight) than the price I was quoted here.
