    Registering pitbike?

    ive seen some pitbikes that have been regisered for the road. does anyone know how they have done this?

    You can do it if you register them as a <2kW moped, which requires no wof or compliance checks at all...you just pay less than $100, then around the same every year as rego fees.

    If you happen to get pulled up on one registered as a moped (which is most likely) you'll get a fucking torrent of fines (especially if it is a 110cc or 125cc).

    They would not have a hope in hell passing checks required to register them as a full motorbike, so that options fucked.

    Best option is to just ride it unregistered, and try and run if you see a cop...

    I knew a guy that had a brother whose dads friends uncles son said the following....

    Yep, we usually go minging around the street and the bikes aint registered. Its a good thing too cause when we get hassled by the park ranger while fanging around the waitakere ranges there are no rego plates for him to track us with.
