He wouldn't have been able to do your brother for shit. The police testify that it was you, but you they prove it's not you with affidavits. The cops aren't gonna get very far pointing the finger at someone else are they. The judge would just say the scattergun approach ain't gonna work.
Some things are worth dying for, living is one of them.

Funny, cause I've always found a get in their face and act all "bloody pigs, always picking on motorcyclists" works a treat too.

I know that now, now that I'm a grand old man of 50, but then I was a very young 20, just out of training and as a result a bit in awe of authoriative figures (ie commanding officers). I was so shocked at the time I believed he could do what he said he could. I was also sure that he wasnt going to get away with threatening me.

Full of piss and vinegar and ready to take on the world.

I've seen the same thing happen, I was on the back of a bike pulled over for going a bit too fast.
The cop asked how fast we were going, the reply was "Awwww about 140", to which the cop replied "And the rest! It took me four k's to catch up with you".

"Just blowing out the cobwebs, mate. Sorry about that".

He told us to be more careful and let us on our way.

well about 2-3 months ago there was all this crap with 6 people being caught on the thursday night ride and ofcourse they pinged and booked me at a speed the manafacturers have proved that the bike can not do .... but anyway .... when we were pulled over 65km's later i asked him where and when i was pinged and he just said ... "i don't know" and yet got a letter through putting it down to an exact minute on an exact corner which is slightly odd since their statements were made 6 weeks after the incident now i can't even remember what i had for breakfast yesterday let alone who i pinged in the dark 6 weeks ago ... sounds like crap to me

they have to be able to read it in the first place.... most of the time you're going to fast for them to read it as you go past anyway. if you can't loose them and they are behind you to read it ya might as well give up.
