    Extending Daylight Saving

Heard on the news this morning that Dunn & another MP are starting a petition to extend daylight saving by 3 weeks.

Great, about time bloody time. Daylight saving is usually over before summer starts.

Bring it on, where do I sign.

    What are your thoughts.

Totally agree, extend it. Or where's Maui when you need him.

Would suck for the farmers though. But I'm all for it.
To split or not to split, that is the question

Great. Where do I sign. And why can't we have more than 3 weeks. And why isn't it more than 1 hour. 2 would be better. Or 3 . At least.

Leave it the way it is... I don't like getting up in the dark. It is long enough now.

All that extra sunlight really fades the curtains. Not good.

More daylight while it is warm is good, nice to be able to do more outside in the evening.

I'd be for it it I could start work at 9.00am...I just hate getting up in the dark, that's what summer is all about to me,waking up in daylight.

When daylight saving first started (officaily,we were already on daylight saving really) I was on shift work and finished at 9.00pm,and rode home in daylight. That was good,as some of my bikes didn't have lights then.

At least three weeks, they could start it at Labour weekend to throw the anti's a crumb though.

Great idea! My job depends on daylight, and I know it's only psycological, but I would rather get out of the pit at 4:45am instead of 3:45am at this time of the year

I'm all for it, as summer doesnt get here for at least 3 weeks later than it once did. Start 3 weeks later and go another three at the other end maybe?
