Inspired by a comment of Woodman's, post pics of your's, or someone else's, ADV bike standing up on it's own.

    I can play this one.

    1) Halfway up the Rimutaka Pylon Access track
    2) Fishers track
    3) Start of the Sutherlands Hut track
    4) Mangahao Dams
    5) Jezza's 950 Adv S on Makairo Track

Unfortunately I don't think I have a photo of it but the best one I left standing was my CBR1000F looking a lot like Mervs in a paddock out near Oxford or Cust area.
I took bad line across the paddock on the way to watch some trials guys do their thing.

Yeah Transalper its funny how those grassed areas look fine until you find out they are basically a bog underneath.

Note to self: don't leave the Vibratron running when parking sans-stand in a river bed!

    Hey, don't bend your back!

Ok, not really an ADV bike. We couldn't afford them.
But 2K got you an Ok 82 XR500R in the early 90's

It isnt mine, but worth a post...

We were up north and nicely heading around Poutu point....
The tide had gone out but it was still a tad soft!
I think we both went over the bars at different times.....
KTM 950's are heavy mothers when the front is down that far!
Worth doing again simply for the pukka factor...
and I ain't talking Jamie Oliver Pukka either....The other one.....where are my spare undies....

Mark thats impressive deccellaration. Did the rear end kick round 90 degrees when the front dived deep? And do KTM 950's have sand shovels in their tool kits?
