I am planning to head to Australia for some desert riding on an XR650. Does anyone have any contacts over there? Anyone know of a good bike for sale there? I'm off to check their Ebay...

Thanks to the adventure riders I have met or spoken with through this site. You are probably the most sociable and friendly nation on the planet!

I might even ride home to the UK via India, Pakistan, Iran and Turkey. But I'll be back in NZ in November.

It appears it has been removed it from sale, it was on trade me as well. Originally the owner intended to take it to Aus and ride it home through Asia to the UK, but then discovered the carnet conditions for Australia were prohibitive so he decided to sell it.

A note a few days later said his plans had changed and the bike was no longer for sale.
