Loopy's going drag racing! yippee!

Helloo peoplez.

After attending the 4s & Rotary nationals at Meremere today I made a decision. Im guna add some excitement to my life and enter the Drag racing sccene. But not on a bike though - not yet.

I've got 3 weeks to get my act together as I want to enter the Night Drag Wars on February 16th. And im guna be running by falcon ute. if anyone has any advice to offer me, useful tips, or knows of anyone I should speak to, or the like, I'd love to hear from you. My ute's a 6 cylinder 4 speed manual and if anyone has got any performance tips that would be awesome. Loopys going racing! Loopys going racing! Loopys going racing! Yipppeee!

How much for how many runs or is it, once paid good for the night?

i think $30 gets you entered. You'll want to show up early-ish (i think 3-4pm) so you can get your practice runs sorted and get some 'about' times down.

Then you can either enter the motorcycle class, or the dial your own. I'd say enter the dial your own then you are only theoretically racing yourself, but you get the chance to whip some dude in a cage too.

if you got the cash get slicks, a decent ecu, decent exhaust... assuming you want to keep the cage n/a. a 5puk helps to.

Maybe, february is looking to be a very broke month for me. What with all the rallies and such and somewhere in there I have to move.
