    Thanks again all.

I don't understand why he needed to make a swan neck turn (out and then around and in). I've driven, and still drive, large 10t+ trucks and only rarely needed to use that manouver. This guy was driving a VW Golf GTI FFS! Fuck those things must have a shit turning circle.

And for the record, I'm not a violent person unless provoked. I help old lady's cross the street, get kittens out of trees and reunite lost children with their parents.

Mate! just caught up with the post!
Glad to hear you are still above ground & breathing and relatively unscathed
You may be surprised at the cost to repair your baby. It could be a write off. Having similar looking damage to my RF just on a year ago and it was a gonner!
So may its time to get the bike mags out and do some shopping?
May the road rise up to meet you.

If you renew, then go for a big v-twin (Italian of course).
I'm sure Madmal64 will agree with me here !!

Fairings will be the cost killer I reckon. The rest is pretty good. I've been offered a set of indicators and have an engineer to do welding and straightening. The fairings I'll have a talk to Crazefox about (he's just down the road) and we'll see how we go from there. The missus won't be keen on me upgrading so soon - but, darn it, I may just HAVE to!

Of course I agree! Want to buy a Falco? Ive got a hankering for a new RSVR!
Col Ive got the costings from mine, fairings, decals etc if you want I can email them through to you. PM me your details if you want them. That will give you a good idea on the replacement costs for the busted bits.

Mine wasn't keen either but I was allowed only on the condition that I had the Guzzi for minimum of 5 years. Didn't say anything about mods to it though....

good to hear your okay CP, that could have been an up and over if you hadn't wiped off most of your speed before contact...did something similiar myself years ago, but came to a very gentle stop right by the drivers windows, poor woman didn't have a clue what had nearly happened as she was doing her hair in the mirror, I think she thought I was trying to jack her car or something.....

Ay caramba Cola! You turning into an asian on us? All that bad riding/driving is a no-no! Glad to hear you okay - suprised that you weren't logging this in from a cell after dealing to the idjit (okay, both you and him are idjits! )

I think it may be time for you to get a Hornet? Actually, scratch that...you'll only lower the image of Hornet riders

So, did your missus slap you upside the head for not being killed, and worse, costing $$'s that should have been spent elsewheres?

Bugger dude, but bikes can be bought, yer bodyparts a little more harder to source

just to help clear it up.....
Before entering a roundabout you must indicate if you are intending to exit left or right – if you’re going straight ahead, don’t indicate.

You must give way to all traffic that will cross your path from your right as you enter the roundabout.

You then need to signal left as you pass the exit before the one you intend taking.

At multi-lane roundabouts, you also need to approach and enter the roundabout in the correct lane for where you intend to exit.

Also you must give way to all traffic on a round a bout as technically they are coming from your right...happens to me all the time, ill enter a roundabout and some on from my right appears after i have moved off ..Ie: they have driven up to the roundabout and continued on with out slowing down and because Im large and heavy and takes a while to get up to speed they quite often end up waiting on the roundabout for me to continue , and to top it off they give me the fingers and yell abuse...however I am on the roundabout so they have to give way to me lol.
