    Power cuts

    Hi everyone,

On my ride home tonight in the dark, shitty, wet conditions there was a power cut rendering the traffic lights along Constellation Drive to die.

I managed to get through this crap (which includes an on/off ramp) ok. But I was a bit worried at first.

I made it through the intersections by going in 'the shadow' of cars when they went through. Would this be the correct method to use?

Yes it'd probably be safe unless they turned right/left unexpectedly.... The correct would be to go thru as if it was a give way type intersection, but I dont think constellation Dr would have been very successful that way, and also probably dangerous on a bike

Ummm. Doesn't the road code apply in Auckland ?:spudwhat:
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Of course it doesnt.... Ever ridden here? Orange means speed up, Red means you've really gotta boot it before you get hit by the other cars.....

And thats only the start of it.....
