Good on ya Pete. Well earnt.
Saturday morning I went for a ride to Taihape via Stormy Point for breakfast, as one does. It's amazing how much difference there is between a 20 year old single cylinder, naked bike and a brand new twin cylinder bike with a fairing. Couldn't get over how balanced it felt even though the riding position is very different. Very hard to behave myself as i am trying to be kind to it whilst running it in ( I know there are a hundred different theories on how best to run in a bike , I'm just trying to take it easy and not rev the shirt out of it ) Did 260 km and the fuel light came on just as I was going up my drive so that's not too bad. Even washed the bike when I got home. So far I am absolutely loving the bike, had good service from AFC ( no I'm not going to comment on the other thread about their service ) and the poached eggs on toast and a long black I had at the Soul Food Cafe was delicious![]()
