"Resolve to live with all your might while you do live, and as you shall wish you had done ten thousand years hence."

A couple of mistakes are common here. Things to think about.
1) Leave you feet firmly planted on the pegs - your legs proportionately weigh quite a bit and if not on the pegs can unsettle the bike.
2) Keep some weight on the pegs - push down on the pegs at low speed as though you are going to stand up on them. The more weight you get lower down the better.
3) Keep your eyes up and ahead - keep your eyes looking horizontal, not down. Often people tend to look down at the ground at the point they want to stop. Your low speed balance will greatly improve if you keep your eyes horizontal and use the horizon to set your balance.

Just practise practise practise.....I've been doing that every day!!!![]()
My bass is such a slapper.......I cant stop fingering those strings
Does that road have tight twisties by any chance????

i actually had more fun on the high speed corners. as my confidence is lacking on the tighter ones, though i did have fun on those tighter south auckland ones and towards the end of the twisties from coro to whitianga. as my confidence had picked up by then.
It makes a permanent.
- if you practice practice practice, but you practice it wrong, you have made a permanent mistake.
Perfect practice makes perfect - ya gota make sure ya doin' it right.

This week we will be meeting at westgate as usual, and then going on a short medium paced ride to a secret location.
