    sv650s - more zip wanted

At the risk of sounding stoopid!! (maybe too late) - would it be better to resprocket my 2002 SV650S for more acceleration or put in a dynajet kit (My bike is still Carbed plus I have a Scorpion Performance pipe) - Or possibly both - money allowing?
What have you other SV650 owners done -
I'm not racing or anything - just want a few more horses possibly - plus a bit more zip. - My top ends fine and I don't mind losing a bit in this area.

Buy an SV1000. It will be cheaper in the long run.

Dropping 1 in the front will do what you want... go visit Cycletreads, it's probably a while you wait job.

Mmm - Thanks - You are all probably right about buying the 1000 - I'm yet to ride one - Will though - They certainly don't cost much more
Mind you I really love my 650 and would love to see what one tooth less on the front sprocket would feel like.
The jet idea - I know costs a whack more.

If you start the process you won't stop.

Put aside $5k now for modifications (+100% for "unexpected" problems that arise from the mods) to the 650.

Or you could call into a Suzuki dealer and trade the 650 on a 1000. The mods you make to the 650 won't increase its 2nd hand value, and you might get 3/5ths of the performance an SV1000 gets stock.

I'd go two teeth down if possible but you will lose some top end and speedo accuracy

If I recall correctly, you were calling WT some sort of motion after that event, weren't you Riffy?
