If it is annoying/stressing you this much then you should weigh up that stress against your pay/career opportunity etc. and if the stress outweighs everything else then leave.

Don't forget there is no reason to be loyal to an employer these days as they sure as hell don't show much loyalty to their employees anymore (in my experience anyhow)

Get a 9-5 admin job in an office and turn that into an office manager job within 6 years.

Maccas is somewhere you work coz yer brain broke. Has your brain broken?

All you needed to say at the begining is 'I work in McDonalds should I leave?" Fark yes! I thought you worked in a reputable establishment.

You need to give people way more info before asking people questions like this dude.

Thanks. Don't forget though that in general, no matter how much you earn there will always be shit to put up with at work. Even if you're the boss (maybe ESPECIALLY if you're the boss )

You can only bitch and moan so much about a job, but it doesn't help you or make you feel any happier in your workplace. If no one fixes the problem for you, you have two options: fix the problem yourself or leave.

You must be a Christian or something sounds like normal life to me.Wait till you get a job up the food chain a bit. You can cause all this misery and get a bit xtra for it until they get rid of you so they make their bonus. This is all about the shareholder.

Get a job that you want and will like..Simple, do what you have to do to get it (apart from giving head and murder). Why spend a big portion of your life in a job that you dislike? If yer boss is a prick then tell him to shove his job and get another. I went out and found what I wanted and it was a tough road for a guy who had left school at 15 doing night school and so on. But now I can easily say that most people have to work for a living, the rest of us just fly around in jets. My passion became my job and has been that way for nearly 30 years. I wouldn't want you to tell my employers this but its been such a hoot, I'd a done it for nothing..!

If you are havin a hassle at ya work i would try to talk to Jane P as she is an understanding person and WILL listen to you if you have a good reason to bitch .
Aint it funny where you find folks that know folks you work for aye ???? hehehehe lol.

Lifes too short to waste it on things that piss you off . Change ya job if you have to but dont leave this one till you have another one sorted out first.
    Cheers Paul.

well sounds a bit weird but either strive to overcome it or just act like everyone else ... if you are earning 6.80 do 6.80 worth of work, its the problem of being in retail ... you don't give a crap about the customer but you sympathise that if you went into a shop and got no service how would you feel .... go do a job you like and can do well and piss in the work coffee pot and laugh

I respectfully disagree; If you only do 6.80 worth of work you will probably never earn much more than that, you need to perform at a higher level in order to be recognised as being deseving of being rewarded at a higher level.

I have had several jobs that I hated with a passion, but I would never let my standards down and even though unappreciated at times I always kept my work standards and habits to the highest level. I guess that's what it means to be proffessional.

Perhaps the above attitude may not help in your current job, but if you take that approach always eventually it will pay off and you will be justly rewarded.

If I were you id look for another job. Thats less than I get as a "Grocery assistant" at countdown.

You could try applying for a duty managers job at a supermarket as the last few we hired had no previous experience or qualifications, it was all on the job training and I think they get like $15 an hour

Posties get $15/hr plus benefits and it's a not bad lifestyle and keeps you fit. From my experience they will pretty much accept anyone as long as you have no criminal record.

I have done it as a summer job and one day a week since I returned to Uni and have enjoyed it Not too much requirement to use my brain though I guess that's for after I graduate
