    Oh the horror!

been seeing a home painted blu sprotsbike in town for about the last month. nice shade of blue, pretty nice looking [for a sportsbike!] looks, sizewise, to be a 250 or less. only down side was he seems to ride a bit over the speed limit. [which i also do]

tonight, at work, it got worse. we get quite a few bikes going by, and most of them whip around the corner, and then gun it up the long straight. anyway, he goes flying by tonight with a pillion...mr pillion had no helmet! [and nearly assed off the back with the sudden acceleration]
time goes by, and eventually, mr blue bike comes in for gas. i was annoyed with the pillion having no lid, and want to report him, so when the bike itself comes in, i start looking shrewdly for the license details. hmmmmm... its not on the back. its not on the left side. not on the right. ok... rego and warrent? nada there as well!
as above, the bike is home painted, and has no make, model or cc rating anywhere on the body.

how the hell do i report a bike with no identification?? i want this guy off the road, because, quite frankly, with his actions, hell be turning a few cagers against bikes pretty quick!

im surprised he hasnt been nabbed yet. hes not exactly hard to miss, and cops are pretty plentiful here.

Report what you know. Tell the coppers all that you can or cannot see. They might have had other reports of the same guy.

You got security cams on site? Coz it'll be on the footage.

pull out your phone and take a photo... "really like these things ay" etc etc

Good girl excellent spot ... get the bastard off the road. The bike is prolly stolen ... maybe from one of our own. I believe the cops will be very interested in your story. I would ring them and copy/paste the details you posted here in a email to them.

    Oh ... and here's a good-biker-citizen bling

No you wouldn't! You'd be in the corner (again) hoping they don't notice you...

disco...no cell phone, and not allowed them on the forecourt. good idea though!

frosty...i might go into the cop shop on monday. itll be on cam, but im not sure how clear, and only a couple of staff know how to get at it. we get the police at work filling. likely as not well get one in tomorrow, so ill write it down and pass it on. if none come in, ill take it to the station.

cheers grub. was a bit of a shock seeing someone go past with no helmet. same with the place. dont think there were even any brackets for it, so hasnt "fallen off"

true wasp... but knowing how that works, itll be a pedestrian that gets killed.

mr blue bike and mr no lid returned today [pushing this time] home made cardboard "plate" on the back, with attached rego [couldnt get close enough to check it matched] did see it read cbr250.
nadroj not sure how he paid yesterday, but today it was cash at the pump. [i try and stay outside, hence not knowing how he paid]

before they came, i had an officer come in for gas, so i asked him about it, and was advised to ring next time i saw them.

once they had left [mr no lid playing pillion] i hid out in the office and reported them.
they are both young enough to assume no higher license than a restricted at best.
gave all known details to the guy at the station, and i hope they catch him.

You would dammage an innocent bike because the owner is a fuckwit?
