My little ol'Hornet is rideworthy again! Just having probs with the lights ... not turning on with ignition and staying on! So no midnight madness out to Gisborne yet!

s'funny, the passing flasher works - the horn works, even my little bling lights

I've spent several hours testing wires and all, buggered if I know - just going to spend some coin and get some professional to look at it (unless there is an auto-electrician here on KB!)

Nice having a school tech room as a workshop - just heated up the bars and banged it on an anvil to get it semi-sorted. New ventura bars arriving on Monday ($38) and new light brackets (the old ones were bent, I pinged them back to shape...but I want new bling )

    Righto...Westpac ride tomorrow anyone?

If you want to meet me at Denny's Manukau before heading to the Autobahn (See my post in the Club 250 section) we can have our own procession of dented Hondas

Have just returned from my hoddy lays. Went to Napier courtesy of clan McMSTRS (Yungatart & hXc).

Did a ride with a bunch of people down there on Wednesday night - relaxed pace - no bins and then me and MSTRS went for a blat on Thursday - 130km ride and he didn't bin the bike.

PLUS I rode there on Sunday and back today without any minties moments. I now feel my jinx has been lifted and other riders can now feel safe to join me again should they so wish

    It extends to cages too.

Went to Welly on business. Picked up a Ford Futura from Hertz and drove to:
    Masterton
    Palmerston North
    Levin
    Wanganui
    Hawera

Felt tired so asked the boss if he wants to drive to New Plymouth - he says yeah.

10km out of Hawera he gets pinged for 128kph while overtaking a car that turned out to be a mufti.

Needless to say I drove the car from New Plymouth back to Auckland.
