    Well I have another bike...woohooo

    Hey guys and gals.

I've just brought my self a Honda CBR1000f, it needs a new front tyre and some other work but for the price (don't even ask ) its a good deal. I should get it late next week if not the next. I'll post pictures once I get it and inform you guys how it rides etc.

I'm quite happy with the purchase as I'm wanting a larger bike for making the big trips up north to the old mans place...oh and to see the places GIJOE talks so highley about.

I really hope its as good (for the price) as the photos and owners says.

Oh yeah, if any one knows of any sites with any info and pictures about these bikes that would be great. I might even pay a visit to Roxanne while Im up north...it would be great to see another one of these bikes..as we have none in my town.

I would love to hear about their engines etc. Ive always thought they have tough engines. How many kms would you expect out of one of these bikes...if its been serviced at a normal rate.

Hahaha yep...I'm worried about how the engine will go. My last bike was a RGV250 so I'm kinda use to a high maintance machine...however this is a Honda so Im hoping to get better running out of her. The cam chain was done 2 or so years ago...not sure about how many Miles it was done.

When I get her I will give it new sparkies, carb balance, oil and filter change and a good check over and clean. Once I have got her looking good again and running to 100% I will travel up north to Whangarei to see the Old man and his XJR1300. On the way I hope to meet GIJOE and all the other riders.

Am I right to be worried about the high KMs or with this beast last for ever...

They can last 200kms ive heard from Gud Mech's...

    Mine didn't..

And it was maybe thrashed and never serviced...

But seroiusly a Mech won't ever say yes to buying a 130,000km bike...

I think the repair bill for that head damage was $2500ish...But I only paid $1000 for the bike..And when i brought it it had done 62,000kms..

So i had got my moneys worth...

    And sold it for $300....

    Crazy Steve..
