Heya,
See if you can pillion with someone on Sunday, it would be worth attending. With all the bikes attending, I'm sure there would be someone with a spare seat on the rear for you. I'd take you -but I'm still on my learners as you know. You could always look into hiring a bike for the day and getting the insurance company to pay for it?
Glad you're okay, hope the Blue Beut's up and running again soon.
My hubby the Scottish rider I'm sure will be with you having a look at the damage. Hope it's not dented your riding, but you'll discover that when you're back on again. Corners might be a bit heart in mouth, which is what happened after my bin.
Cheers
Chickadee/Christine
I agree with the White Blur... you need to attend this if only in a pillion capacity.
Great idea about the hire bike too Chick, I wouldn't have thought of that - glad my other half didn't think about it when her cage went driving yesterday, I wouldn't have shiny new pants otherwise, nor the forced 2 weeks of riding I must now "suffer" muhaha...

Donor: So ya glad you're a Biker?
Minnie: F**k yeah!
Thanks for the kind words. I'll let you know what happens after I call the insurers tommorrow.
Re the pillioning: I don't think I actually know any bikers who are on their full![]()
The infamous "Scottish Rider" has just been around to inspect the damage and assures me it isn't "that" bad which is good news. I like to say "Thank you" to Jamie for making the effort to come out and have a look, it is much appreciated, you have been incredibly helpful since I began my great biking adventure. I hope that some day I will be able to pay you back in kind (More than just a dollar at the Kentish)
Just hope the Insurance company doesn't do an "Insurance Company" on me
Hope I can claim for a new jacket too, I think I will cover myself in cow from now on![]()
[QUOTE=Crisis management;925291]There must be something in the water out your way...McBin, GiJoe and now you! I hope its not contagious.![]()
Good to hear your ok mate. Thats 3 out our way so I hope we'll be left alone now.
If you can't be a good example, be a horrible warning![]()
Sorry to hear about your bike. Hope the little @#$% gets just what he deserves.
For ever action...there is a reaction.
It's still roadworthy, 5 minutes in Botany Honda and they'll sign off all the bits that need replaced. They will price them up and send a bill to the insurance company and from experience all these parts will be "Ex Japan" which means 2 weeks before they're here to fit. Meanwhile there's no reason I can see for not riding it around - it's roadworthy, just not very pretty - this has never stopped Donor has it?
Glad your okay... Gear and bikes can be fixed!
