I am doing some investigating on behalf of the german couple calling themselfs Motorradnomaden. They are cruising the world on bikes and are at present stuck with a nackered engine in Melbourne.
No engine can be found in Aussie and repair is too expensiv.The engine has 250 000km

They wonder if somebody has for sale a YAMAHA 600XT engine1990 or later, also XT 600 Tenere 86-91 would do.

If somebody has got a donk, they will bring the nackered bike over here, fit it and then tour NZ.

Any help and hints are appreciated, THA !

Not sure if this is going to help or not, but I sell XT600 piston kits for $157 and conrod kits for $207, both include GST. That price is full retail, if they put a couple of MotoEquip stickers on their bike I'll do them at trade prices.
